Take That give 'brilliant' Robbie thumbs up

Take That, lads the big winners at GQ
Take That, lads the big winners at GQ

The Take That boys have given their stamp of approval to the solo comeback bid of long lost brother Robbie Williams.

Singer Mark Owen says he was one of the first to have a listen to Rob's new hit Bodies and has branded it 'brilliant'.

Meanwhile the dad of two was revelling in a rare night out on the lash after his band scooped the best Band gong at the GQ shindig.

The 37-year-old said: 'We haven't had a decent night out in ages because of the tour, so it's just great to finally get out.'

Meanwhile we found poor old Jason Orange lost in showbiz after joining him for a drink out on the balcony of the Royal Opera house.

Like a lost puppy, he asked me: 'Have you seen where all my colleagues are? I've been totally abandoned!'

Of course we sent him off for the wrong way just for a laugh after having our cheeky snap with Mr Barlow himself!

Robbie Williams goes back to the Hotel Meurice in Paris after going to Radio NRJ. Paris, France. 15/09/2009

[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Samuel Nathan]

About an hour ago (roughly) Robbie Williams hopped out of a car in Paris and headed back into his swanky hotel. The singer is currently in the French capital to promote his new single Bodies, and earlier today he appeared on NRJ Radio in the city to talk about the track.
Meanwhile Robbie recently suggested that he would consider appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
"I really like I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here," he said. "It would be fun to go on. I like to see how these shows are constructed, filmed and edited."
Well we suppose if his comeback album hopelessly fails there’s always going into the jungle as a last resort…

Robbi Wan Kenobi

The singer emerged from his hotel in Paris in pyjamas, dressing-gown and sunglasses while brandishing an impressive pink lightsaber.

It's no secret that he likes to take on different personas - and clearly here it's Star Wars' Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Robbie is in the French capital promoting new album Reality Killed The Video Star, and he seems to be having plenty of fun doing it.

The only thing that I'm not jealous about is that dressing-gown.

E cá temos então a mais recente noticia:

Robbie Williams Robbie Williams will open this year's BBC Electric Proms. He will be accompanied by a string section, horn section and full band. The show features new material from Robbie's forthcoming album 'Reality Killed the Video Star' alongside some classic tracks, under the musical direction of Trevor Horn.
The first single from the album - Bodies - is classic Robbie, a mash-up of a grinding electro bass line with a gospel choir and heavenly strings, as the singer casts an eye over modern life.
The album title itself is a nod to Trevor Horn's eighties smash hit as Buggles and Robbie is delighted to work with the legendary producer. "He's added something to the record that I haven't had on previous records - his genius," says Robbie. I just think it sounds big - track after track after track."
Similarly, Robbie's career to date is simply astounding: 15 Brit awards, eight No. 1 albums, and his Close Encounters tour set a world record selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day. His three nights at Knebworth were one of the biggest live music events in UK history when he entertained over 365,000 fans.
This is Robbie's first show since that epic Close Encounters tour in 2006 and represents a rare opportunity to see a total entertainer play a unique, intimate show. Robbie says, "I'm looking forward to playing my new songs, working with Trevor Horn again and seeing how people react to what I've been doing."

Robbie’s tour de remorse

He hasn't hit the road since his 2006 Close Encounters jaunt.

Rob revealed: "I cannot imagine touring in the near future.

"I've smashed my head against a wall too many times. I know it's harder than I am."

The chart-topper played five nights at Milton Keyne's Bowl during the Close Encounters campaign but had to bin later dates in Asia because of exhaustion.

He added: "I felt great when I started to promote a record but it soon began to kill me.

"I felt worse when on tour. I suffered a nervous breakdown and checked into rehab."

The former TAKE THAT star isn't retiring from live gigs altogether, though.

He kicks off the Electric Proms shows at the Roundhouse in London's Camden on October 20.

DIZZEE RASCAL was filming the video for single Dirty Cash in London yesterday while dressed in a top hat and morning coat.He shares scenes with a woman dressed as MARGARET THATCHER and suffragettes with huge boobs.

Robbie Williams is coming to a big screen near you!

Filed under: Robbie Williams, The X Factor

Robbie Williams
Now we know Robbie Williams is bigger than the average Joe in the music industry, but his latest gig news proves he’s bloody huge! Tickets for the star’s first full UK gig in three years (at the BBC’s Electric Proms) might have sold out, but fans who missed out can still catch the Robster at various venues across the world. The gig, which takes place in London on Tuesday 20 October, will also be broadcast live in almost 200 film theatres in 23 countries! Rob himself was thrilled by the news, saying, “It's very exciting to think that a one-off performance I play in London can now be seen simultaneously by people all across the world," – and we’re particularly amazed that the gig will be shown as far a field as South Africa and Australia. Venue tickets will be on sale from THIS Friday, with more details at www.robbiewilliams.com. And don’t forget that the man himself will also be performing exclusively on The X Factor this weekend. Welcome back, Rob!

It is able to identify music already in a user’s collection and make recommendations of related tracks they don’t already have but that may be of interest to them. Give it a go this weekend and see what gems it suggests especially for you!
