Just
a couple of weeks ago, Gary Barlow hosted a big showcase where he
introduced this beautiful lady to the world. She's called Camilla
Kerslake, and she's the very first signing to Gary's new record label
Future Records (how bloody lucky is she?!). In Gaz's own words,
Camilla's classical voice is “a unique and powerful instrument” and
he's certain she's going to be huge. We were lucky enough to
sample Camilla's singing for ourselves, and we agree – she's fantastic.
And now we've got her – or even our, d'oh – hands on this exclusive video footage from the night itself, with Camilla's debut single She Moved Through The Fair playing through the clip. So, is Camilla heading for big things? Frankly, with that voice, she is – plus she has the likes of Mr Barlow behind her. Surely a WIN! Have a look at this video and let us know what you think of Gary's new protégée.
*Camilla's debut single She Moved Through The Fair is out now, and her self-titled debut album is out on 16 November.
He might be a global pop star with a string of charttopping hits and a multimillion-pound fortune.
But singer Gary Barlow is still a down-to-earth lad at heart.
The
Take That frontman has invited 100 pals to celebrate his 10th wedding
anniversary with dancing, bingo and a slap-up meal... of fish and chips.
Gary
and wife Dawn, who have one of the most solid marriages in show
business, are throwing a £250,000 party at the swanky Mandarin Oriental
Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. Guests, who are thought to include
Gary's bandmates Mark, Howard and Jason and old pal Robbie Williams,
have been told the dress code is "glamorous".
But the food will be anything but, laid on by famous fish and chip chain Harry Ramsden's.
An
insider said: "There will be oodles of the finest champagne, of course.
And the venue is very swish. But Gary and Dawn are everyday folk at
heart. They didn't want daft French scoff.
"Who needs it when
you can have fish, chips and a good dollop of mushy peas?" She added:
"Even the invites are typical of them. There's a bottle of champagne
with bingo balls bursting out of the top.
"They might be worth a fortune but they know how to have a good time.
"And although they've been married for 10 years, they're still madly in love."
Gary, 38, met former backing dancer Dawn, 39, when she worked with Take That as they found fame the first time round.
He proposed with a £10,000 ring after a four-year romance and they wed on the Caribbean island of Nevis in 2000.
The couple, who live in London, have three children - Daniel, nine, Emily, seven, and nine-monthold Daisy.

Take That frontman Gary Barlow says there will be some unique "one-off" duets at the Children In Need concert he's organising.
The singer is putting together a charity show at the
Royal Albert Hall in London in November featuring some of the biggest
names in UK music, including Muse, Sir Paul McCartney and Take That
themselves.
Speaking to Chris Moyles, who will host the gig,
Barlow said each act would be doing two songs but there would be also
be "three or four one-off duets that have never been seen before."
When asked about the possibility of Dizzee Rascal
partnering with Dame Shirley Bassey he teasingly replied: "I'm saying
nothing, but make sure you're there."
Other names on the bill include Snow Patrol, Leona Lewis, Lily Allen, Cheryl Cole, Mika and Katherine Jenkins.
Barlow, who's now back at work following the
unexpected death of his father two weeks ago, said he was surprised to
get such a strong line-up for the concert.
"I wrote a list and sat there thinking, 'Right, if
we can get half of this we'll be lucky', and every single person has
agreed to do it.
"It's great. That's testament to the charity
itself, people do love Children In Need. It is going to be a brilliant
night and a bit of a one-off I think."
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will also add to
the occasion by accompanying all the acts, in what Barlow described as
a showcase of the best in UK music.
Elephant ride
The 38-year-old
said after their record-breaking Circus tour, Take That were "not
really doing much at the moment", but that their studio return wouldn't
be far off.
Take That's Circus played to more than a million people this summer
"We're
starting our new record soon and we want a bit of a break now before
any new music... It takes a good nine to 12 months to make an album."
The band's summer tour had exceeded their
expectations, Barlow said. But he admitted he didn't appreciate the
scale of the show - with its accompanying circus performers - until
watching the band's upcoming live DVD.
"I was like, 'What's that going on behind us? I
never knew that.' It's amazing! This other show just energises and you
think 'Wow!'
"The best bit for us four was when that elephant
goes up and you're like 20 metres above the whole stadium. It was hard
not to smile at that point."
He also said the boys were looking forward to Mark
Owen's wedding next weekend. The singer is preparing to marry his
long-term fiancée Emma Ferguson, with whom he already has two children
Barlow remained tight-lipped about the event, but
did admit the boys gave their bandmate a good send-off: "The stag do
was good... it was grown-up messy," he joked.
The Children In Need concert takes place on 12 November and will be broadcast on BBC One on 19 November at 2000 GMT.
SUPERSTAR ROBBIE WILLIAMS is ready to sell his country mansion for a £1MILLION
loss so he can flee Britain before winter sets in.
He wants to be back in sunny Los Angeles with his homesick American actress
girlfriend AYDA FIELD, 30, in time for Christmas.
Moving ... Robbie Williams
Robbie, 35, paid nearly £8.5million for 18th century Compton Bassett House -
complete with a helicopter hangar, temples and fountains - in February. But
he has now ordered his estate agent to slash the price in order to make a
quick sale.
A source said: "Robbie is desperate to get things moving quickly rather than
hang around just to get a bit more money.
"Being settled back in the States quickly with Ayda is more important to him.
Rambling
"He's already got a few people interested in the mansion."
Robbie admitted the rambling seven-bedroom house near Calne, Wilts, was an
"impulse buy" when he returned to Britain after five years in America.
He and Ayda dreamed of bringing up kids there. But then they decided to move
back to LA after becoming fed up with the wet summer.
Robbie - who has sold 55million albums worldwide - originally planned to keep
the mansion for a few more years while promoting his new release Reality
Killed The Video Star.
But he admitted: "I can't really afford to keep it. Maintenance is a lot. I've
done a few impulse buys and it leaves you no money."
The estate uses so much electricity that it has its own substation worth more
than most people's homes.

Mark
Owen has already made it very clear that his upcoming wedding to
fiancee Emma Ferguson will be a strictly private affair, but that
hasn't stopped him letting slip a few details about the big day.
"Everything's going to plan, but we haven't had time to think about our
honeymoon yet," he tells Closer magazine. "It's a big white
wedding, but a private affair. I want to be with family and friends."
Asked if his fellow Take That bandmates will be performing on the day,
Mark laughs and says, "Are you kidding? I couldn't afford them!"
Although he then adds, "The boys will all be there, though." Mark will
wed Emma – who he says is his best friend and makes him laugh – in a
Scottish castle next month. Awww.
Mark Owen Expecting Take That Wedding Singers...
Mark Owen is bracing himself for a drunken Take That stage reunion - at
his upcoming wedding.
The pop star who is in the
middle of planning his wedding to long term girlfriend Emma Ferguson in
November (09), and while he admits he hasn't booked his bandmates to
perform at the reception, he is sure they'll be belting out their hits.
The lads aren't supposed to be singing at the wedding but I don't think I'll be able to stop them after a few drinks
He
says, "The lads aren't supposed to be singing at the wedding but I
don't think I'll be able to stop them after a few drinks. I'm nervous
but I can't wait!"
The dad-of-two has brushed off
reports he plans to sell photos of the upcoming nuptials to the press,
insisting: "I'd never do that - I don't think anyone would want to pay
us anyway."
Take That are set to record the official World Cup song for the England soccer team.
The 'Greatest Day' hitmakers - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange
and Howard Donald - are in talks with the English Football Association
to write a new anthem for the event, which takes place in South Africa
next summer.
A source said: "Gary's really excited about it. He wants to make it a real belter that'll get the England fans on their feet.
"The Football Association have had approaches from lots of acts but Take That are the obvious choice."
Take That's soccer song
If
Take That do sign the deal, they will follow in the footsteps of New
Order, the Lightening Seeds and the Spice Girls, who have all recorded
and official song for the England team.
Last month, it was reported Mel B wanted to get the Spice Girls
back together for a one-off performance in South Africa at the same
time as the World Cup, even if Victoria Beckham didn't want to take
part.
A source said: "Mel's determined to get the girls back together for
the World Cup and wants them to plough ahead as a foursome if Victoria
doesn't want to take part. She has got the others excited by the idea
of a one-off appearance. They are very interested."
Que eu saiba ninguem daqui votou.......o que significa que afinal há muito português que até gosta dos Take That!! Onde será que eles andam todos?!?!?!?!?!?
What a lovely audience the other night..
I know listening to new stuff can be a bit of a bore..But everyone was
lovely and received it with kind hearts and consideration
so thank you very much....
I wasn't aware until last night (after the gig) that the X Factor
performance was given such an horrendous kicking.....
Oh well,you win some......
neither was i aware that the roundhouse thing was being beamed into
cinemas..i kind of heard it being mentioned but i think selective
hearing must have been in action at the time.....
hope it was enjoyable there too

ROBBIE Williams was so nervous about his big comeback gig this week he used an autocue, the Daily Star can reveal.
He read the lyrics to his new songs from a screen during his sensational BBC Electric Proms show in London.
And
his “heartfelt ad libs” about “new best mate” Gary Barlow and his
tributes to Take That were scripted before the performance.
Robbie, 35, who made a shaky appearance on The X Factor two weeks ago, has confessed to suffering from stage fright.
And
a source revealed: “The show was beamed around the world to millions of
fans and nobody wanted Robbie to crack under the pressure.
“All
eyes were on him after his X Factor performance received mixed reviews.
It was decided as a safety net to have the screen discreetly
positioned, so if Robbie needed a hand he could have a glance over.”
The source added: “It’s a big deal for Robbie to get his confidence levels back up again.
“He’s known for being cocky on stage – but this time he needed a little bit of extra help.”
While on stage at the Roundhouse, he introduced No Regrets as “a song about the band I used to be in”.
Robbie also described his reconciliation with Barlow, 38, and the group during the gig, which was his first in three years.
He told the crowd: “I’ve got a new best mate and his name’s Gary Barlow.”
Robbie also changed the final lyric of the song to “I guess the love we have is officially alive”, instead of “dead”.
After
opening with his new single Bodies, an emotional Robbie told the crowd:
“You nearly made me cry. But then I realised it’s not The X Factor, is
it?”
And
while singing another new song, Morning Sun, Williams noted: “No-one’s
singing along down the front. That means the record hasn’t leaked. Ha!”
At
one point he even threw a bottle of orange juice into the front row
after realising a diabetic girl was in danger of fainting.
The
source added: “Robbie looked much more comfortable on stage than when
he did The X Factor. He was smiling and interacting with the fans.”
The
Angels star will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music gong at
the BRITs on February 16 to add to his record-breaking tally of 11 wins.
